The Poor Man's Gold | Pepper Mill

hand scratched ceramics | 28 x 28 x 148 cm | 2010

In 2010 Joost scratched away typical 'Delft Blue glazed drawing' in the development of his Poor Man's Gold project for the Zuiderzee museum. This process resulted in the outcome of a new pattern which he entitled Scratch. The pattern he applied on new collections of furniture where different layers of lacquer are scratched away by hand. Also a high quality table linen is developed and woven by the Dutch Textile Museum.
